will host its 2006 Annual Meeting
MJSTA-SE will host its 14th annual meeting on October 28 (Saturday). The annual meeting has an afternoon session and an evening session.
The afternoon session starts 2 PM and ends 6 PM and is free and open to the public. The topic of the afternoon seminar is "how to grow your business in an uncertain global economical environment." We have invited four speakers. Sean Wang Ph. D. who is the president for ITRI International (ITRI is a major research and development organization in Taiwan) and he will talk about technology transfer between Taiwan and the US. Wei-Siong Ph. D. Tan who is founder and CEO of Accusentry (www.accusentry.com). Frank Tung Ph. D. who is founder and CEO of GeneCure (www.genecure.com). Jan Tung who is founder and COO of IronCad (www.ironcad.com). Wei-Siong, Frank, and Jan will discuss about how to grow business.
The evening program follows the afternoon session. The evening program starts at 6:00 PM and ends around 9:30 PM. During the evening program there will be a presentation of Young Achiever Award to high school students and transition of officers. There will be a speech by Bob Lin, who is president of Monte Jade chapter in Northern California (the biggest chapter of Monte Jade). Bob is also a successful entrepreneur and he is general partner of a venture capital group and has taken several startups to IPOs. The evening program requires tickets ($35) and includes dinner.

美東南玉山科技協會將於十月二十八日舉辦第十四屆年會
美東南玉山科技協會將於十月二十八日在Hilton Atlanta Northeast舉辦第十四屆年會. 本屆年會邀請到全美極富盛名的演說家及實業鉅子前來作專題演講和座談會. 今年的主題為” 在動盪的時局中開拓商機.” 年會內容豐富, 包含下午的專業研討及晚上的主題講座和玉山青年獎頒獎典禮. 下午兩點將舉行科技創業有關的講座, 這講座已邀請到台灣工研院在美國公司的執行長王紹華博士. 講座之後, 將有一個座談會來討論如何在全球經濟動盪的時局推拓商機, 目前已請到了Accusentry 的執行長 Wei-Siong Tan博士, GeneCure 的執行長董耀宗博士, 及IronCaD 的金白雪總經理. 座談會的陣容堅強, 機會難得, 請勿錯過.
